Which Channel Should You Actually Use?

Most frustration with a large game server comes from posting in the wrong place and getting ignored. Gakuran's community organises itself by purpose, and once you know which channel owns which question, answers arrive far faster.

Announcements & patch notes

Announcements / changelog

Read-only. This is where the developers post update logs, maintenance windows and new-style reveals. If you only follow one channel, follow this one — it is the same information the Trello changelog carries, pushed to you.

Codes

Codes / giveaways

New codes are announced here first, usually minutes after an update ships. We treat this channel as a Tier 1 source on our codes page, which is why a code is only listed as active once it has appeared here or on the Trello.

Trading & value checks

Trading / price-check

Use it to sanity-check what a clan roll or accessory is going for before you trade. Expect noise: prices are opinions, not official values.

Sparring & matchmaking

Looking-for-group / sparring

Post your style, height and region to find practice partners. Most useful in the hours after a balance patch, when everyone is re-testing what still wins.

Bug reports & player reports

Bug reports / player reports

Where a genuine bug or a suspected cheater should go. Include a clip with the server timestamp — reports without evidence are usually closed without action.

How to Tell the Real Server From a Copycat

Games that grow quickly attract servers that imitate them. The imitation usually exists to harvest accounts, so it pays to check before you click. A genuine community space passes all of these:

  • The invite came from the official Roblox experience page or the official Trello board, never from a comment, DM or a "free rolls" video.
  • The server lists the same developers in its roles as the official credits do — a copycat rarely bothers to reproduce the full team.
  • Member count is in the tens of thousands, and the announcement history goes back months rather than days.
  • Nobody in it will ever ask for your login, your cookie, or a "verification" that involves pasting code anywhere.

Community Etiquette That Saves You Time

  • Do not ask for free rolls, Robux or items. It is the fastest way to get muted, and in most servers it is an explicit rule.
  • Post in the right channel. A codes question in the trading channel just gets ignored; the same question in the codes channel usually gets answered in minutes.
  • Use the search bar before asking. Almost every "how do I reroll" question has been answered dozens of times, and the pinned messages carry the current answer.
  • Never paste your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie or your account password to prove anything. No real developer, moderator or "verified trader" will ever need it. Anyone who asks is running the account-theft scam described on our script safety page.
  • Do not advertise other servers, services or Robux sites. It is banned in essentially every Gakuran community space, and it is how most reported scams start.
  • When you post a clip of a suspected cheater, keep the whole fight in frame. Trimmed clips routinely get dismissed because the context that would prove automation was cut out.

Discord & Community FAQ

What is the official Gakuran Discord invite?
The invite we list on this page is the one published by the developers on the official Roblox experience page and the official Trello. Invites rotate, so if a link has expired, get a fresh one from the Roblox experience page rather than trusting a random comment or DM.
How do I know a Gakuran Discord server is the real one?
Check three things: the invite came from the official Roblox game page or the official Trello, the server has the developer roles listed in the credits, and the member count is in the tens of thousands rather than a few hundred. Copycat servers exist specifically to phish accounts, and they usually fail at least one of those checks.
Where is the fastest place to find new codes?
The codes channel in the official server. Codes typically appear there and on the Trello before anywhere else, and any code published only in a YouTube comment or a DM should be treated as unverified until it shows up in one of those two places.
Can I get banned for something I post in Discord?
Discord moderation is separate from Roblox moderation, but the two can meet: posting exploit loaders, account-stealing links or Robux scams will get you removed from the community, and the same behaviour can get your Roblox account actioned. Keep requests for game data inside the game.
Is the competition server part of the official community?
It is a community-run tournament space linked from the official community rather than a developer-run channel. Brackets, rules and results are managed by the organisers, so treat its rulings as that community’s, not as developer statements.
