How This Differs From the Official Tier List
This maker is a blank canvas for your opinion. The official ranking on the Fighting Styles Tier List is built from rarity, roll odds, and tested perk values (with community testing notes for new styles like Wing Chun and the August 2026 additions CQC and Kyokushin). Unreleased styles (Taekwondo, Bulky, Variant, Wild, Sky Gaolang) and the removed Dirty style start in the “Unreleased / Unranked” pool — drag them in only if you want to speculate.
How to Rank Styles Without Fooling Yourself
A tier list is only worth sharing if the method behind it is honest. These are the rules that keep a ranking defensible when someone opens your link and disagrees:
Rank what you can pilot, not what looks strong
Your list should describe your experience. A style you have never equipped belongs in an "unranked" pile rather than in S because a video said so — otherwise your own list stops telling you anything.
Separate duels from group fights
A style built around isolating one opponent and a style built for a crowd rarely deserve the same placement. Decide which mode your list is about before you start dragging, and say so when you share it.
Note the body you tested on
Height changes damage, swing speed and hitbox, so a placement made on a short build can be wrong on a tall one. If you tested on a single frame, that is a caveat worth adding rather than hiding.
Date your list and revisit it after patches
Gakuran is still being balanced, so any list that does not say when it was made is describing a game that no longer exists. Re-share after a balance patch instead of defending an old ranking.
When someone sends you their shared link, ask the same questions of it: what mode, what body, what date. Almost every argument about tiers is really two people ranking different games.
