Delinquent fashion in 2007 Tokyo followed strict underground aesthetics. Follow these design standards when crafting your crew's custom uniforms:
Canvas Resolution
Use official Roblox 585 × 559 px classic shirt templates with PNG-24 transparency to prevent artifact lines in-game.
Armbands (Takuto)
Place gang insignia on the left sleeve (upper arm) to ensure high visibility during first-person and third-person brawls.
Kanji Embroidery
Traditional Tokkofuku coats feature vertical golden slogans on the back (e.g. “天上天下唯我独尊” or custom faction kanji).
How to Get Custom Gang Outfits
Step 1: Join or Create a Recognized Crew
Organized crews in the official Gakuran Discord maintain verified uniform assets. Check your crew’s Discord #uniforms channel for official Roblox asset links.
Step 2: Upload Classic Shirt & Pants Templates
If designing for your own gang, create a 585x559 pixel classic shirt/pants template featuring your gang’s Kanji kanban, back embroidery, and colored armbands. Upload via the Roblox Creator Dashboard for 10 Robux.
Step 3: Pair with In-Game Rerolled Variants
Visit the character menu to adjust your in-game uniform fit: choose between unbuttoned chest, rolled sleeves, or loose baggy pants (Bontan) to complete the delinquent silhouette.

Where the In-Game Uniform System Ends
The most common confusion about gang clothes is thinking there is one system for all outfits. There are actually two layers stacked on top of each other, and they behave completely differently:

This is why two players in the same gang can look completely different: one is using the preset uniform variants, the other is wearing a custom asset that was designed and uploaded through Roblox. Understanding which layer you are working with saves a lot of time — you cannot design a unique jacket inside Gakuran, and conversely a preset reroll will never produce a uniform that nobody else has.
Designing Something That Reads From Across the Court
Gang uniforms exist to be recognised instantly in a crowded fight, which is a design constraint rather than a fashion one. The differences that matter in practice:
- One strong colour beats a detailed palette. At combat distance you read a silhouette and a dominant colour, not a pattern. Pick a colour nobody else on the server is using and commit to it.
- Large motifs survive, small text does not. Intricate embroidery is legible in a screenshot and invisible in a scrap. If a design only works when you stand still, it is not doing the job a uniform is for.
- Keep the upper body distinctive. Heads and torsos are what an opponent sees over a guard. Legs and footwear are mostly hidden by range and stance.
- Avoid imitating a real group's insignia. Using the marks of an actual organisation, or copying another gang's design to impersonate them, is how a cosmetic decision becomes a moderation one.
Do Not Pay Strangers for "Gang Clothes"
There is a persistent market in paid "custom gang uniform" services and "uniform code lists". Treat it with the same suspicion as any other out-of-game offer:
- Preset uniform variants are unlocked in game for free, so nobody can sell you access to them.
- Roblox clothing assets are visible on the platform itself — if a seller will not simply show you the asset page, there is nothing being sold.
- Any offer that asks for your Roblox login, your cookie, or a "verification" step is an account-theft attempt, regardless of how the outfit looks in the preview image.
