1. Overview

Gakuran Guide is an unofficial fan resource for the Roblox game Gakuran (学乱). The Site is a static website, but it does embed third-party tools and advertising. This means that while we do not run our own account system or ask you to sign up, certain partners described in this policy may set cookies or process limited device data when you visit. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect Directly

We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment information. We do not operate user accounts, comments, or forums. The Site is read-only reference content.

Your browser may automatically share technical details that hosting and analytics providers record, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and the pages you visit. These are processed in aggregate or pseudonymous form and are described in the relevant sections below.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. The Site and its partners use cookies and similar technologies (web beacons, pixel tags, local shared objects, device identifiers, or advertising IDs) for the purposes listed below.

• Essential / First-party storage: the Site uses your browser's Local Storage only for features you have requested, such as the Progress Tracker and search history. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

4. Third-Party Advertising (including Google)

Third parties, including Google and other ad networks, use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads on this Site.These partners may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, mobile advertising IDs, and similar technologies to:

• store information about the ads they have shown you and measure how those ads perform;

5. Analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics to record aggregated, pseudonymous traffic data such as page views, approximate country, and referrer, so we can understand which content is useful. The measurement tag is loaded late (after interaction, or after a short delay) so that it does not affect page performance, and it is not loaded at alluntil consent has been granted where consent is required. Data is processed under Google's terms and is used to improve the Site and measure content performance.

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the Cookie Settings control in the footer, opt out in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

6. Third-Party Embedded Content & Links

Some pages embed YouTube videos for tutorial content. YouTube/Google may set cookies when the player loads, even before you press play, in line with YouTube's own privacy policy. The Site also links to external services such as Roblox, Discord, and Trello — each has its own privacy practices that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or data practices of third-party sites.

7. Hosting

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and operational purposes such as DDoS protection. Refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

8. Children's Privacy & Mixed Audience

Gakuran Guide is a fan resource for a game played on Roblox, which is COPPA-compliant. We recognize that such games can attract a mixed-age audience that may include children, and we treat the Site accordingly:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region).
• We do not knowingly target advertising to children, and we do not knowingly build audience lists based on children's data.
• We do not process sensitive categories of personal data (health, religion, sexual orientation, etc.) for ad targeting.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact usand we will take steps to delete it. Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise children's use of the Site and to use device-level parental controls and ad personalization settings.

9. EU, UK, and Data Rights

For visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other regions with data-protection laws, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site for essential functions and security. Cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary — advertising identifiers and analytics — are only used after you have given consent, and consent is requested before those technologies are set rather than afterwards. Declining is presented with the same prominence as accepting, and the choice is recorded locally on your device so it is not asked again on every visit.

Where consent has been given, it can be withdrawn at any time from the Cookie Settings control in the footer. Withdrawing is effective immediately: future loading of advertising and analytics is stopped, and the identifiers already stored on your device (such as Google analytics and advertising cookies) are deleted.

10. Your Choices

• Consent controls: visitors in the EEA, the UK and other regions where prior consent is required are shown a consent notice on their first visit, with equally weighted Accept and Decline options. You can review or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings control in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent also deletes the advertising and analytics identifiers that were already stored on your device.
• Manage browser cookies in your browser's privacy or cookie settings.
• Opt out of Google personalized ads via Google Ads Settings.
• Reset the in-site Progress Tracker or wiki search history from the relevant tool's UI, which clears its Local Storage entry.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, partners, or legal requirements. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the policy.
