1. Lists are lifecycles, not menus
A card moves from an ideas column into a work-in-progress column and, eventually, into the live documentation columns. Seeing a card in an upcoming or WIP list means the developers are thinking about it — it does not mean the feature exists in a public server. When a card disappears, it has usually been merged or completed rather than cancelled.
2. Numbers on a card are design intent, not live values
Perk levels such as Guard Pierce or Resilience are written as intended tiers during balancing. A card can say "Guard Pierce III" for months while the live client behaves slightly differently after a hotfix. Use the board to understand how a system is designed to work, and confirm the current numbers in game.
3. The changelog is the only chronological signal
If you want to know what changed and when, read the changelog rather than diffing the style cards by eye. A release note tells you a system shipped; a style card tells you what that system is supposed to do. Confusing the two is how players end up quoting a "new" mechanic that has not launched.
