Quick Answer

Wild is an unreleased (WIP) Gakuran fighting style described on the official Trello as a disorientating, chaos-focused style. Its M2s visually blur the victim's sight and halt posture regen for 3 seconds, and it carries Guard Pierce II (15% block chip). It works on any height. Early community tier lists project it around B-Tier, but that is speculative until release.

What We Know From the Official Trello

Disorienting M2s

M2 hits visually blur the victim's sight and halt posture regen for 3 seconds — a unique denial effect.

Guard Pierce II

15% block chip damage — modest pressure through blocks.

Last checked 11 September 2026 — still unreleased. Beyond the card itself, the check used a published community tier list dated after the 8 September update, which still describes Wild as unreleased and explicitly warns readers not to treat it as a rollable target yet.

Projected Role (Speculative)

  • Best Height: Any (per Trello).
  • Playstyle: Chaos disruption — disorient opponents and deny posture recovery.
  • Community Projection: Early tier lists place it around B-Tier, but this is unconfirmed until launch.

Why This Is a Preview, Not a Guide

Released style pages here carry tested combos, real matchup notes and a build recommendation. Wild has none of those, because it does not exist in a public server. What the board gives us is the design intent behind a disruption style, and the honest way to present that is as a preview with a verification date rather than as a guide.

The distance between a card and a live style is routinely underestimated. Denial effects in particular are the hardest thing to judge from a description — whether a three-second posture freeze is oppressive or irrelevant depends entirely on how long the animation takes and how easy it is to land, and neither number appears on the board.

The interesting part of the card is the disruption itself. Gakuran's combat already revolves around posture, and a style that denies posture recovery for three seconds is attacking the resource that decides guard breaks. Whether that becomes oppressive or a gimmick is exactly what launch testing will show, and why nothing on this page carries a tier rating we would defend.

What to Do Until Wild Launches

  • Do not hold rerolls for it. An unrollable style cannot reward waiting. Spins saved are spins not improving the character you fight with now.
  • Learn the resource it attacks. Any style that disrupts posture is only as good as your understanding of posture and guard breaks. Read the posture and parry mechanics page — that knowledge transfers to every style you play, including Wild.
  • Be sceptical of pre-release gameplay. "Wild style showcase" clips appearing before release are typically edited footage or a different style dressed up. The only confirmation that matters is seeing it in your own reroll list.
  • Watch the changelog, not the tier lists. Projections about unreleased content are guesses. Launch timing and final values appear in the patch notes first.

This preview is re-checked on a fixed review cycle. If the card is still WIP at the next check the verification date rolls forward; if the style ships — or is dropped — this page is rewritten to match rather than left to age.

FAQs

Is the Wild style released in Gakuran?
No. Wild is listed on the official Gakuran Trello as an unreleased (WIP) fighting style. It is not obtainable in-game yet, and there is no confirmed release date. Everything on this page is a preview based on the Trello card and may change before launch.
What do we know about Wild from the Trello?
The official Trello describes Wild as a disorientating, chaos-focused style. Its M2s visually blur the victim's sight and halt their posture regen for 3 seconds, and it carries Guard Pierce II (15% block chip). The disruption is its signature identity.
What height will be best for Wild?
The Trello lists Wild as an Any-best-height style, so it should work across builds. Treat this as provisional until release and testing.
Should I save rerolls for Wild?
It is too early to say. Wait for the official release and our launch-day testing before committing rerolls. Until then, Muay Thai (short–med) is a proven disorientation-free pressure option you can use now.
